The Edge aka Adam Copeland Copeland plays Ares in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a new Disney+ series. A rare first-look video of Adam Copeland as Ares in the fifth episode of the show is going the rounds over the internet . The title of the episode is “A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers.”
Adam Copeland introduced as The Fiery God Ares in Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The most famous example of WWE stars in movies is, of course, The Rock, Dwayne Johnson , The People’s Champion. Maxwell Jacob Friedman has entered the elite list by starring in The Iron Claw and now Adam Copeland, a WWE Hall of Famer, is also on the list.
Copeland catches up with Percy Jackson and his friends at a diner during the episode. Adam Copeland requests a favor from Jackson and his friends [Annabeth and Grover]. He instructed them to retrieve his shield from a nearby playground, ignorant that Hephaestus had stolen it as a result of Ares’ actions toward the god of fire.

“Up the road is an amusement park.” I left my protection behind. You get my shield back, and I’ll get you to the Underworld by tomorrow lunchtime with a plan to invade Hades’ palace…”
When Annabeth heard this, she made a snide remark about how he left the shield at a children’s playground.
“You left your shield there?” “Like, forgot on the merry-go-round?” Annabeth enquired.
Ares was not happy about this. He then stated that he is not going to cope with this any longer.
“Okay. The chirping was funny to me for a minute. But it is getting old. So, do we have a deal, or am I killing all three of you so I can eat in peace?!” Adam Copeland as Ares said.
Copeland is a vivacious addition to the illustrious cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Glynn Turman’s Chiron, Jason Mantzoukas’ Mr. D/Dionysus, Jessica Parker Kennedy’s Medusa, Megan Mullally’s Alecto, and Suzanne Cryer’s Echidna have already been introduced to fans. The gods of Olympus begin to appear more frequently in Episode 5.
The WWE Hall of Famer discusses his decision to play Ares “I read the audition and found the comedic beats were a really fun aspect that I wanted to play around with,” he said. “That, coupled with the fact that my girls are huge Percy fans and we could watch this as a family.”

On January 9th, the program aired for the first time on Disney +
