Belkin has announced the availability of an official external battery clip for Apple’s forthcoming Vision Pro headset.

The attachment specifically tackles a problem encountered by consumers who wish to utilize the Vision Pro on the road but lack practical storage choices such as pockets or backpacks.

The  headset is designed to be used independently, with an external battery pack connected by a wire.

Apple has chosen an external battery to ensure user comfort and regulate the device’s weight, requiring users to carry it while in use. By allowing customers to connect the power pack to their clothing, the battery clip provides a convenient alternative.

The headset, a new product category for Apple, will be available on February 2nd, with pre-orders beginning soon.

Bloomberg noted Belkin’s development of the Apple Vision Pro battery clip in an article. The external battery pack adds its own set of problems to the Vision Pro, which prioritizes user comfort by keeping the device weight acceptable.

The attachment alleviates a major problem caused by the device’s weight, allowing users to leave their hands free for motions and interactions with the Vision Pro while reducing concerns about accidently misplacing the battery.

The source quotes, “Belkin, will begin selling the clip alongside the Vision Pro when the headset debuts next month. Apple stores will stock the item, and, so far, it appears to be one of the only authorized accessories that will be available as early as launch day.”

Apple Vision Pro and Belkin Battery Clip Availability

This official accessory will be available for purchase beginning with the Vision Pro’s February 2 release date, and both Belkin and Apple will sell it.

The company, known for its line of Apple-approved accessories such as iPhone screen protectors and MagSafe charging stands, worked with Apple to create this product.

While further attachments are expected after launch, Belkin’s battery clip is the first official non-Apple accessory available for purchase on launch day. Apple Vision Pro pre-orders will begin on January 19.
